Traverse Heights PTO

The Traverse Heights PTO aims to enhance the home and school connection at Traverse Heights Elementary. 

We also serve to help secure and distribute funds to improve the school experience for staff, students and families at Traverse Heights.

In order to enhance the home to school connection and secure and distribute funds to Traverse Heights Elementary School to help improve the school experience for staff, students, and families, the Traverse Heights PTO plans to raise $20,000 to support:

• Field trip for all classrooms

• School supplies

• Permanent soccer nets

• Teacher Appreciation Week

• Parent Teacher Conference meals for staff 

• State Testing snacks

• Fifth Grade Graduation

• The Amazing Shake

• New playground balls

• After-school activity scholarships

• Marvelous Mondays mentorship lunches

• Cherry Festival Parade supplies

• Move-A-Thon fundraiser prizes

• Snacks and beverages for staff meetings

• House shirts

• House Assembly decorations and supplies

In 2023/24, The Traverse Heights PTO aims to raise $10,000 through three events: 

• Move-A-Thon (Fall)

• Student  Poetry Book (Winter)

• Fancy Dance (Spring)

We meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 6pm in the school library - everyone is welcome.
