ROADRUNNER FAMILIES,
On Tuesday, October 21 our students will participate in our 8th Annual Traverse Heights Move-A-Thon to accomplish the following goals:
Give Roadrunner students and staff 60 additional minutes of exercise and movement
Raise at least $10,000 as a school to support the efforts of our Traverse Heights PTO.
HOW FUNDS WILL BE USED?
Funds raised this year will be used for funding field trip for all classrooms, school supplies, assemblies, Teacher Appreciation Week, Parent Teacher Conference meals for staff, State testing snacks, Fifth Grade Graduation, new playground balls, after-school activity scholarships, Marvelous Mondays mentorship lunches, Cherry Festival Parade supplies, Move-A-Thon fundraiser prizes, snacks and/or beverages for staff meetings, and House shirts, and House Assembly decorations and supplies.
WHAT CAN THEY WIN?
Each classroom that reaches their goal of $600 will get to decide as a class from the following party:
Hot cocoa party, a popsicle party, or popcorn party
The top classroom in both Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary will get to decide as a classroom how to spend $150 for some fun educational subscriptions or supplies of their choosing.
